About Actorsy

WE BELIEVE YOUR
FACE IS YOURS.

Not a dataset. Not a training asset. Not a resource to be harvested at machine speed without your knowledge, your consent, or your cut. Yours. And we built a marketplace to make sure you get paid every time it's used.

Why We Exist

THE PROBLEM
IS SIMPLE.

AI can now generate a human face, voice, and performance with the same ease with which it generates a landscape or a logo.

That is a technological fact. What it is not, what it has never been and will never be, is permission.

For years, AI production has operated in a grey zone. Likenesses used without consent. Talent bypassed. Payments never made. Contracts never signed. Studios hoping the legal exposure wouldn't catch up with them.

It is catching up. SAG-AFTRA. The EU AI Act. The NO FAKES Act. California AB 2602. Insurance underwriters. Regulators on every continent are moving in the same direction at the same time, toward the same conclusion: you cannot use a person's likeness in AI production without their explicit, documented, revocable consent. Full stop.

Actorsy exists because the industry needed compliant infrastructure before it needed another argument about whether consent matters. It does. We built the platform.

The Moment We're In
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, YOUR IDENTITY CAN EXIST, MOVE, AND GENERATE VALUE WITHOUT YOU.

That is not a hypothetical. It is the operational present.

In 2024 and 2025, unauthorized AI-generated likenesses appeared in advertising campaigns, political content, commercial productions, and synthetic media at a scale that was previously impossible. The individuals depicted had no prior knowledge. No recourse. No audit trail. No payment.

The production industry is not malicious. It is moving faster than the infrastructure available to govern it. Studios need faces. Brands need presenters. AI platforms need training data and generative assets. The demand is real, growing, and accelerating. The problem has never been the demand. It has been the absence of a legitimate, structured, consent-first supply chain to meet it.

That is what Actorsy is. Not a restriction on AI production. The infrastructure that makes it sustainable, legally defensible, and fair to the humans at the centre of it.

We are not anti-AI. We are pro-human.

The AI economy will generate extraordinary opportunity for talent at every level: from A-list actors to people who have never considered that their face could be a commercial asset. A background performer in Leeds. A student in Lagos. A retired teacher in Manila. In the AI era, every human face is potentially valuable. Actorsy makes sure that value flows to the person it belongs to.

How We're Built

THREE THINGS
WE DON'T NEGOTIATE.

01
Consent is not optional infrastructure

Every talent profile on Actorsy is built on explicit, granular, revocable consent. Not buried in terms and conditions. Not implied by uploading a photo. Explicit. Scoped. Documented. Yours to update or withdraw at any time. No licence can be issued without it.

02
The floor is union rate, not the ceiling

SAG-AFTRA and Equity minimums are the baseline every deal is built from. We did not invent this standard. The industry did, over decades of fighting for it. We simply built a platform that enforces it at scale, automatically, for every talent, on every deal. No exceptions.

03
The split is a principle, not a promotion

Unrepresented talent keeps 85% of every licence fee. We take 15%. If you have an agent, the total platform fee is 25%: your agent receives 15% from our side, we keep 10%, and your 75% is untouched. Your agent is paid from our cut, not yours. We built a business on this model because we think it is the right structure, and we intend to keep it.

The Team

WHO KNOW BOTH SIDES.

Why Now

THE WINDOW
IS OPEN.

Infrastructure standards are not determined by the best technical solution. They are determined by whoever achieves critical mass first.

The generative AI industry is in its governance phase right now. Regulations are forming. Legal precedents are being set. Insurance mandates are crystallising. Enterprise buyers are demanding audit evidence. Studios are looking for compliant supply chains. Talent is looking for platforms they can trust.

We launched Actorsy at the precise moment when the demand for consent-first infrastructure moved from optional to mandatory. Not because we timed it perfectly. Because we saw it coming and built accordingly.

The AI era is not coming. It is here. The question is not whether AI production will use human likenesses at scale. It will. The question is whether that happens with or without the humans' knowledge, consent, and fair compensation.

We built Actorsy to make the answer obvious.

AI can generate almost anything.
What it cannot generate is permission.
That's what we're here for.
